Cookies required for the prelaunch site and sign-in to work: your theme preference, a security token for forms, and, if you sign in with an early-access code, your session cookie. These cannot be disabled.

Attribution (referral source)

When you arrive from a campaign or community link and accept all cookies, we set short-lived cookies that record where you came from, so we can understand which efforts bring people in. Each is kept for up to seven days:

  • salty_community_source: the community link you arrived from
  • salty_sanctum_interest: the ocean-sport discipline (freediving, scuba, or surfing) from the outreach link you arrived on
  • salty_utm_source, salty_utm_medium, salty_utm_campaign: the campaign parameters in your link

These are first-party attribution cookies. We don’t use third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t use Google Analytics or similar.
