Prelaunch Privacy Notice
Effective Date: July 2, 2026. This notice covers only the prelaunch waitlist and early-access flow. Our full Privacy Policy applies once you create an account.
What we collect
When you request access or join the waitlist from the prelaunch page, we collect:
- Your first name, and last name if you provide it
- Your email address
- The persona you select (freediver, instructor, dive shop, or other), if provided
- Your discipline interest (freediving, scuba, or surfing), if selected
- A free-text sport suggestion if you choose to share one
- Your certification agency and level, if provided
- Your approximate location (country and city), derived from your IP address
- The referral source you arrived from (campaign or community link, captured via the cookies described below)
Why we collect it
We use this information to manage the waitlist and early access: to check whether your email is on the access list, to email you a one-time sign-in code, and to tell you when your sanctum opens and share an occasional update on what we're building. We don't sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the prelaunch:
- GoHighLevel (United States): our customer relationship and lead-management platform. We forward your name, email, selected persona, discipline interest, sport suggestion, certification details, and approximate location so we can manage the waitlist and send you updates. If the initial forward fails, we automatically retry it over the following days.
- Supabase (United States): stores the waitlist record and sends the one-time sign-in code by email.
Cookies
During prelaunch we use essential cookies needed for the page to work, and short-lived attribution cookies that record which campaign or community link referred you (named salty_utm_source,salty_utm_medium, salty_utm_campaign, salty_community_source, and salty_sanctum_interest, each kept for up to seven days). We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. See the Prelaunch Cookie Notice for details.
Retention and your choices
We keep your waitlist information until launch or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Every update email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To access or delete your information at any time, email privacy@saltysanctum.com.
